World Record here I come!!!

This one is related in the fact that it is my first attempt at getting into the Guinness book of world records and it is also a shot at being on Ellen maybe. I can crochet with my tongue, for those of you who don't know me. And I wanted to attempt making a long chain. So I tried tonight with a piece that was 6 pull and peel strands connected together and it worked just fine. My roommates all tried tonight to tie knots and to crochet which was quite fun and funny to watch. But I think the most awkward moment of the night was when Logan asked me where I learned to do this and I had to tell the truth and say my mom taught me.... Well if that isn't awkward enough I included this video on the blog I write for my children so they can learn it from their mom too. haha
Hope you enjoy it.

Twofer...

Well this blog entry is kind of a twofer. For those of you who don't speak fluent redneck, that means it is a two for one deal. I finished another thing on my list. I made an article of clothing for myself. I chose to make a skirt. I took a dress pattern, and only did the bottom half of it. Then I added a zipper and a hook and eye closure and voila! It did turn out cute and I have worn it to church already, but it was not too terribly exciting. I think I do enjoy making things for other people more than for myself. huh, live and learn. I will try to remember to post a picture of it sometime. I have a ton of extra fabric because the lady at the store convinced me to buy the end of the bolt which made it half off. Okay, but now what am I going to make?
Anyways, the more exciting and semi scary thing that is on my bucket list that makes this blog a twofer..... I am moving out of Idaho. I have on my list that I want to live outside of Idaho for at least three months. Well I am transferring schools and will probably be seven months. If I have to cut back and go part time instead so that I can work too, then it will be a year. I am nervous, and terrified but I am also excited. I think this will be good for me. And I feel like it is the right thing for me right now. :) Life's latest adventure is how I am looking at it. I think I will relax once I get moved and realize it is okay to be farther than an hour from home. I will keep you posted on this as it develops I just wanted to let you know what is going on. Wish me luck!
